Belgian-style tripel ale spiced with hibiscus. Heavily infused with hibiscus, the beer displays a pink tinge. The beer greets you with a malty sweetness that quickly dissipates into a dry and tart grapefruit, lemonade finish.

Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and a little crisp. Sweetish malts, touch of spice. Light generic floral fruits - the Hibiscus I guess. Smooth caramel - cream. Light crisp finish. Not bad at all, certainly hides the abv very well.

Capped 750 from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours sort of copper blush with a transient white head. Aroma is malt and floral. Med body. Flavor is somewhat malty with floral going somewhat citrus. Not getting much Belgian yeast/spice/fruity ester. It’s drinkable, but for me the malt is a bit much. I’d never have thought this was a tripel in a blind test.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazed, deeper golden hued body with a bit of pink. Lasting large white head (when on tap, less so from the growler I took home). Aromas are spicy, phenolic, herbal, citrusy, rose water, tart and floral. Medium malt character. Flavors are dry and tart with citrus, citrus zest, hibiscus, mild bready malt, medium peppery phenols, and lasting lemon. Complex. Lively bubbles, somewhat well hidden alcohol. Dry finish with a bit of a tartness. Very tasty.
