15th May 2017: 330ml bottle in De Bierboom, Brugge. Amber pour, off-white head. Easy drinking malty beer, fruity with a caramel like aroma. Semi-sweet malty flavours with again caramel to the fore: my sweet tooth liking this beer a lot.

Lots of foam when pouring. Pleasant aroma with resin, sweet fruity tones and hayish malt. Foamy palate. Flavour has grapefruity hops, biscuity malt, resin and mild mineral tones. The first sips were nice but then this starts to feel too hayish.

Draught wat Moeder SG. It pours clear deep amber/brown with a decent off-white head. The nose is sweet, doughy, fruit cake, dried fruits, candy, cereal and toasty grain. The taste is bitter-sweet, doughy, brown bread, muffin, musty, toasty brown sugar, candy, booze and wood with a pretty dry finish. Medium+ body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Not overly drinkable. OK.

Clear red amber beer, creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, bit sweet, caramel, dried fruits, raisins. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little bitter, malty, sourish touch, some citrus, hoppy, spicy, some liquorish. Aftertaste: hoppy, dry, some caramel, not sweet though!

Light brown with lasing head. Aroma and flavour are both malt heavy and have sweet, almost perfumed background notes.
