La Luna Rossa was created with an initial sour beer which underwent 2 years of mixed fermentation (lactic bacteria, brettanomycetes). Then we added cherries for at least 6 months and we blended the new beer with a small part of other beers. La Luna Rossa is an ale that can remember a Kriek or a Flemish Red Ale. It has an extraordinary complexity associated with a strong character. For lovers of this kind of beers it is certainly hard to forget.

Keg at Moor bermondsey. Murky brown, shit water, oily, no head. Aroma is sour, citrus, musty fruit, sweet and sour berries, lacto. Flavour is composed of semi sweet and sweet, bitter cherry, citric acid, bitter lemon. Palate is bitter sour, no condition, sweet and sour. Weird beer

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a deep red to brown with a finger of foam that lingers. Cherry, berry and balsamic vinegar notes on the nose. Sweet with some apricot, prune and more cherry...some oak notes as well. Sweet with tart cherry and moving towards more lingering acidity on the finish. Alcohol hidden well.
