Clear medium golden colour, good foamy white head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Sweet maltyaroma, grain, bit flowery, yeast. Flavour light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, fruity, yeasty, candy sugar, light spicy notes. Sugary sweetbitter aftertaste, bit peppery. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, no finesse, too sweet, meh.

Draught at a pub in Bastogne. Thick, frothy, dense, regulary shaped, thickly lacing, beaten-egg like head, clear ’old gold’ colour with lively sparkling. Aroma suffers a bit from DMS (cooked white cabbage) but fortunately not overpowering, other impressions include white bread, grass, apple peel, sweetbread, fresh fish, plastic and banana. Restrained fruity onset, some peach and a light banana touch, strongish and somewhat ’souring’ carbonation, supple body, light bready malt middle, bit metallic too, somewhat resinous ending with grassy and herbal hop bitterish touch but the malt sweetness and light banana ester linger. Stereotypical ’Belgian’ blonde intended to commercially rival pale lager.

33 cl bottle at Beim Siggy, Luxembourg. Pours sparkling bright golden with white head. Aroma is low: porridge, biscuit, oatmeal, honey. Mouth is fizzy, fresh, slightly sweet. Citrusy mildly bitter finish.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ home. BBF 27.02.2015. Hazy orange, creamy egg-white head. Nose is weird spoiled lactic metallic yeast, white sugar, bit mold,… Fizzy metallic, spoiled eggs, off-dough, corn, weird frothy paper, metallic white sugar taste, cloves, paper honey,…. Body is like metal & wet paper,…. Not a fan of whatever this is.

Again a big thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Shy malty aroma. Starts dry-malty, some fruity notes of apricot, light metallically background. Finish more dry, a bit boring malty. Okay.

Bottle thnx to Dorien Pours clear blonde, very big white head Smell is chemical maltyness . Taste is sweet, corny , some malts, bit metallic . Some bitterness. rather thick mouthfeel for this type of beer, but feels boozier than 6,6

Fresh malty nose. The beer starts sweet-strange. Herbal hints with fresh malty grain. Smooth with a nice herbal bitterness. For me a bit too sweetish. The aftertaste is fresh herbal with a moderate sweetness and bitterness. Interesting...

(Bottle, Luxembourg Airport, 9 July 2014) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit, orange, candy sugar and spices. Malty, fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, candy sugar and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and spicy, possibly a touch too sweet. Quite enjoyable.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

Bottled 330ml. -Golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, soft spicy nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, mild fruity and pleasant spicy with notes of coriander and alcohol. Some herbal hoppy touch in rather spicy finish.
