Another Alliteration is an iteration of our beloved Farmhouse Noir. After fermenting and aging this dark and delightful ale in one of our 90bbl foudres, we pushed it to wine barrels where we added raspberries and tabulated the progression of time. Fruit forward, with a prickly palate, we generously give you Another Alliteration. Sante!

Poured from a 750 ml club bottle. Aroma is fairly raspberry forward with a moderately strong character. Light chocolate and caramel with lighter roast notes. A bit of toasted bread with some light raisin, plum and prune. A bit of cherry and other berry notes. Pours dark brown with small, thick, dark tan head that recedes to the edges where it lingers for just a bit. Light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with a medium light acidity. Some toasted bread, caramel and toffee with light chocolate notes. Moderately strong raspberry notes. Lighter cherry, plum and cassis with faint raisin. Light oak and low bitterness. Raspberry and acidity linger in the dry finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a great beer. Lots of raspberry notes with a nice, farmhouse noir character in the background. Very fruity with a nice malt profile.
