Draught @ 6th Borefts Beer Festival 2014, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Brekeriet Sour Amber ].Unclear light to medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, tart fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, tart fruit, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140926]

Bottle from my European Secret Santa, many thanks Per. Unclear orange color with medium white head. Tart, fruity, bready aroma. Tart taste with apples, lemon, brett, funk. Long tart finish. Good.

Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, rhubarb, and lemons. The flavor is sour with notes of brettanomyces, lemons, and barn yard, leading to a tart finish.

Appearance: Cloudy amber color with a n ok off white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Bready, fruity and pleasant acidic.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sour/acidic, mellow sweet and a fine bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Apples, some yeast, bready, fruity and a bit funky.
Overall impression: Lovely balanced and tasty sour ale!

Hazy orange with a small white head. Fruity and light acidic aroma of brett. Fruity and light acidic flavour of berries and brett. Tart finish.

Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad, disig med högt skum som snabbt lägger sig. Doft av funk, brett, citrus. Sötsyrlig ganska murrig smak med tydlig men snäll syra. Mjölksyra, ek, äppelcidervinäger, fuktigt hö, syrliga plommon och lite härlig funkig syra. Trevlig.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours very hazy amberish golden with a rather small creamy offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass. Smell is slightly malty and slightly fruity with white bread, cereal, oatmeal, unripe pears, lemon juice, yoghurt, moist hay, moist soil, lemon zest and hints of apple cider vinegar. Taste is sour, tiny malty and tiny fruity with cereal, oatmeal, green apples, unripe pears, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, dry wood, grape skins, moist hay, moist soil and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, tart, round and medium bodied. Finish is sour with cereal, white bread, apple cider vinegar, moist hay, kumquats and lemon zest. Ok sour... Nothing fancy but drinks allright...

Aroma: Sour, floral, fruit.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av citrus, citron, brett, äppelvinäger med toner av blött gräs, karamell och mjölksyrabakterier. Syrlig, lagom sötma med fin beska.

Bottle at Bishops Arms, Sundbyberg. Amber with a small head. Aroma and taste of funk, citrus, light apples and some weak notes of oak. Resfreshing and nicely drinkable. Once again a nice one from Brekeriet.
