Aroma: Sweet caramel and brown sugar. Tropical fruit - mango, pineapple and strawberries.

Appearance: Murky chestnut brown body. Huge tan head with good retention. Lots of carbonation. Minimal lacing.

Taste: Malt sweetness with a hint of peppermint bitterness on the finish.

Palate: Heavy, oily texture. Light carbonation.

Overall: More of a malty IPA than an intensely hoppy IPA, but it’s still pretty good. Very sweet.

0.33l bottle from beermerchants.com This is a light cloudy almost amber beer with a nice little sidesticking off-white head. On the aroma I get lots of tropical peachy fruits and pine with hints of sweet caramel and ripe strawberries. Quite nice! Lovely flavors. It's quite full-bodied with a heavy oily texture and a comfortable carbonation level. Flavors are malty and sweet, still perfectly balanced and it feels really fruity with peachy tropical fruits and a nice cortex tone in the end. A really good IPA! 05.04.2012

Cask at Egham United Services Club Easter Beer Festival 2012. A dark golden/amber coloured pour with a healthy off white head on top. Malty, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, citrus fruit, some sweetness and bitterness. A quality IPA.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, copper-gold with a large, attractive foam head. Aroma holds tangerine, peach, bubblegum and light toasted malts. Medium sweet flavor, light caramel, ripe citrus, pine, tangerine, grapefruit, light grass, toast. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Sweet finish with robust, grassy bitterness, some sticky pine, lots of diverse fruits, some more tangerine, peach, grapefruit, orange, very mild alcohol, some toasted caramel and bread. A respectable IPA.
