A revisit of our collaborative Double IPA brew with our friends from over t’hills Cloudwater Brew Co. Golden Promise, Wheat, Oat and Crystal Malt were used for a smooth, golden, malty body. A combination of Citra, Simcoe, Eureka and Mosaic T90 hops were used in the whirlpool and dry hopping, with additional Citra & Mosaic LupulN2 Pellets added in the dry hop. Fermented with London Fog yeast, the result is a fruit-filled DIPA with loads of Mango and Peach aroma/flavor, a little residual sweetness and a gravity-defying drinkability. Strap yourself in!

Malt: Golden Promise, Malted Oats, Malted Wheat and Crystal Light
Hops: T90 - Simcoe, Eureka and Mosaic, Cryo - Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic
Yeast: WLP066 London Fog

Tap at Mother Kellys, 7th February 19. Pours a clear copper colour. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is spot on and bitter, pine, citrus, really easy drinking. Great one, the lower rates are not correct here.

Can. No Magnum hops and a different yeast, new beer then! According to Ratebeer rules which we all know are consistent, evenly applied and not at allnsubject to local admin opinion or ego! Light haze on this gold beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Smooth light sweet malts, light creamy sweetness. Resinous pine. Little piney sap. Modest nibbly hop spice. Ripe orange and grapefruit. Mild skunk Good stuff, loadsa hop character but it is fairly generic, do you know what hops are in this beer?

500ml can @ Station. Pours misty gold, good white head. A myriad fruit cocktail aroma, sweet. Taste is markedly sweet, juicy fruits, good exotics, excellent hop clarity. Really very good, and effortlessly drinkable.

New beer my arse. Can. RAD Beer. Light haze on a pale amber. Thin, dense, lasting, leggy, white head. Nose has stewed grapefruit and orange. Touch of fresh herb. Ripped hop leaf. Taste is fairly sweet, with a robust, citrus oil bitterness. Medium body. Quite oily and slick. Low carbonation. Finish gets a little resinous and oily. Great DIPA.
