Dark, dark brown with a creamy, beige head that lingers. Caffe mocha aroma with a hint of spice. Taste is roasted bitter with the bitterness picking up at the end. Finishes with coffee and a hint of milk chocolate on the tongue. Full bodied, chewy, mild to moderate carbonation. Good harmony between the beer and the added coffee. Nice!

Black beer, decent tan head soon fizzles down. Coffee aroma. Taste is all smooth coffee, toasty malt, some vanilla. Simple flavours but rich and smooth. Very nice.

Keg tap at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark brown, translucent with a thin tan head. Light smell of coffee beans. Gentle bittersweet taste with light bitterness in the finish. Muted carbonation which exposes a surprisingly slight body for the ABV. Good but I expected better from Buxton.

Can. Buxton online shop. Clear dark brown. Lovely tan head is creamy, sudsy, lasting, and semi lacing. Nose has coffee ice cream. Creme brรปlรฉe. Toasted grain. Vine fruit. Taste is dry and roast malt bitter. Big coffee character. Smooth and pretty rich on the palate. Dries out considerably. Fine carbonation. Big and long lived coffee bitterness to finish. Tasty gear.

Can from Morrisons Supermarket, Moston. Black with a thin head. Not quite as stated as expected in either aroma and taste but there's still plenty to enjoy with light coffee in both of the aforementioned, getting dryer in its aftertaste enhancing its flavour. Is nice and smooth with hints of chocolate.

Can from my brother at Christmas, thanks! Drunk after some good Indian curry. Dark, almost black, with a tan brown head. Smells like creamy milk chocolate mocha coffee. Super smooth flavor, one of the best interplay/balances of creamy oats mouthfeel, remaining sweetness, coffee & flavors, ending in a nice hop bitter/roasted coffee note that's enough but not overpowering. The cacao and vanilla round it out but are well blended, hardly distinguishable. Stunning Porter.

440ml can from Morrison's - Deep opaque ruby black, tan head. Nose is sweet coffee, milky, bit of chocolate. Bitter start, sharp coffee hit, tart on the way out. Nice enough.
