Nice light brown bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, toast, sour-ish roasted grain, bloodlike minerals, bark, dark sugar, sour coffee, dark malts, bitter chocolate, rye bread, hints of vanilla. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, burnt toast, weeds, bark, sour-ish roasted grain, bloodlike minerals, alcohol, bitter chocolate, sour coffee, burnt rye bread, harsh vanilla, medicine. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry burnt mouthfeel. Very disappointing.

33 cl bottle @ home. Bottled 20.12.2018. BBE 20.1.2020 Aroma has licorice, toffee, hay, coffee and some English hops. Flavour has toffee, licorice, some coffee. Finishes with English hops and menthol. The menthol in the finish isn't nice here, the toffee does not fit completely either. Not exactly my thing but not bad still. I must say that I expected more from this brewery.

Can 440ml. @ home.[ As Buxton Extra Porter - Costa Rican Coffee ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, strong coffee, fruity coffee, vanilla beans, light dusty coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, vanilla beans, coffee, strong coffee, fruity coffee, rich coffee, dark malt, vanilla and coffee bitter, medium dry. Can @ Highlanders Bar, Aarhus. Pours very dark brown with a light brown head, light lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, cocoa, dark chocolate, bread, little licorice. Flavor is light sweet, little bitter, roast malt, cocoa, chocolate. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. 020419

Can from Cotteridge Wines and shared in Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty toffee caramel malt, liqouirce, light coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich, oily, roasty, coffee, sweet malts, liqouirce, dry coffee palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
