Can at home. Pours black with beige head. Nose is big on cocoa, chocolate and of course, coffee. This latter is kinda astrigent, pretty nice altogether. Taste is cocoa, acidic coffee, some chocolate, pretty smooth and round. Slightly bitter and somewhat sweet. Closes with bittersweet, coffee-cocoa finish, has light, creamy body and soft carbonation. Drinks below the ABV. All in all rather nice, very nicely balanced and pretty tasty.

Bottiglia.

(Bottle) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate, tobacco, vanilla and liquorice fudge. Malty, roasted taste with notes of fresh coffee, chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, liquorice and a mild coffee bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Really rich coffee taste, with a good touch of chocolate. Very nice.

Really top notch beer. Slightly cold brewed coffee, slightly dry, lots of complexity. Gollem amstelstraat

Pours black, medium darkly tanned, small head. Scent is creamy, lactose-like from the vanilla (?) , roasty, yet remains 'fresh' , not as thick perhaps. Taste is roasty, medium thick. bitter-roasty finish and aftertaste. medium low carbo. Vanilla is fairly floral. Not a huge fan, but I've had worse. Don't recognize it straight up as coffee - except perhaps the intense bitterness - which I find to be a bit too high for the balance honestly.

Very dark brown with thin head. Burnt malt is strong enough that this is even a bit smoky. Almost savoury. Slightly thin.

440ml can from Morrisons, St Albans, Herts. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee, chocolate, coffee, vanilla aroma and taste. Quite bitter tasting and a little thin for 7.4% but still decent enough.
