Bottle, Dark black but still translucent with red hues. no head. Standard aroma but there’s a little bit of shoe polish aroma or something that’s not supposed to be there…maybe a spice? Good mouthfeel, creamy, up front and lingering. Very minimal chocolate and espresso. malt dominated and finish is weak.

Clear purple brown beer, small irregular aery beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: roasted, some coffee, grains, hay, bit malty, dusty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, cow fodder, hay, little bitter, roasted, pretty sweet, caramel. Aftertaste: sweet malts, sugary, hay, cow fodder, hoppy touch.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Naparbier Napar Porter ].ABV: 6.2%. Clear dark brown color with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, cookie, roasted, sweet malt, sweet dark maltl. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, roasted, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140705]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and a little liquorice. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 050714

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are sweet chocolate, licorice, roast malt, little coffee and hops.

Black color with a frothy and medium creamy off-white head with good lasting. Aroma is strong coffee, black chcolate, light licorice and some ashes. Flavor has notes of coffee beans, dark chocolate, cocoa, medium bitterness. The final is light bittery with a dry mouthfeel, ashes and coffee are also present.

Botella de 33 cl de 1420 de León. Lote 140310 hasta 07-2014. Tomada en 16-05-2014, en el momento. Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro persistente. Aromas algo diluidos no muy intensos a maltas tostadas o más bien quemadas con suaves toques herbáceos, aumentando al calentar. cuerpo medio, fácil de beber con 6.2 vol correctos. Sabores suaves, resaltando sobretodo las maltas quemadas, con ligeros toques de caramelo tostado y con un amargo final poco pronunciado. Aparece también algo de café y cacao. Buena, ligera al paso por boca y con un regusto quemado ligeramente amargo agradable, que va mejorando al ir cogiendo temperatura,,, lo mejor esta al final,,,. Mucho mejor que la janis porter. Para repetir.
