Tap @Luppolo12, Roma. Clear brownish with small light beige head. Aroma has sour berries, cherries perhaps, and some malt. Sour, acetic flavour. Bretty notes, tart with notes of wood and spice. Has a not so pleasant, slightly harsh bitterness in the finish.

Draught@CBC2015. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is sour wood, some toffee, mild raisins as well as some herbs and spices. Flavour is quite similar, with a nice nuttiness to it. Balanced between the sweet and sour, though tending more to the sour direction.

Draught at OEC SourFest, 8/15/15.
Drab olive-chestnut-beige body shows good clarity and a wispy, light beige head that sits around at cover.
Dry, dominating lactic notes in the nose allow some dry caramel, earthy/crusty brown bread-like grain notes and light wood character as well. Some light fruitiness sits on the finish, with plentiful acidity and perhaps a touch of alcohol and vanilla fume.
Extraordinarily dry, astringent flavors show pure lactic acid tartness mixed with dry, grainy, astringent oaky notes and dry, minimal caramel. Absolutely no comfort from the malts, which seem to be completely non-existent here. Horribly out-of-balance, too dry, astringent and with little more than just oak, caramel and lactic acid. Yikes....

At the 8th tasting (round 2), held in Vranovo and Pozarevac. Bottle 2012. Pours a dark brown color with wood-like highlights, no head. Nose: tobacco, cherries, leather, red fruits. Mouth: a bit lack of body, balsamic notes, easy drinking like all the Loverbeer beers. Nice all-in-all.
