Ankarudden Aussie Pale Ale är en ljus ale i australiensisk stil och det är vår bryggare Andrew från ”Down under” som har skrivit receptet. Den har fått sitt namn efter udden som ligger längst ut på Torö. Hamnen har haft stor betydelse för sjöfarten sedan 1200-talet och idag tjänar den som hamn för båttrafiken ut till Landsort. Ölen bryggs på pale alemalt och kryddas med humle från Australien, Vic Secret och Ella som ger den sin tropiska karaktär.
Som alla våra öl är den opastöriserad – och bryggd med omsorg och kärlek.

Bottle 50 cl. Cloudy, opaque amber with a smallish, off-white head. Slightly spicy hop aromas. Medium body, slightly sweet biscuit and caramel with sufficient, balancing bitterness. No biggie but straight and well made. 091125

Copper colour with small white head.Aroma is nice flowery and malty with good bitterness and nice taste of hops and malt nice fruit and crispy fresh finish.

Draught at oxsvansen in Stockholm.
Long lasting fluffy white head.
Clear solid yellow color.
Tropical hop aroma.
Well fermented to give a dry finish with fresh citrus hop taste.

Tap at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Color is slightly cloudy light golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, hops and malts. Clear and aussie hops very obvious. Nice and tasty!

A small taste from a friend (tap) @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto. Pours clear golden with a medium head. Aroma is fruity malts. Flavor is fruity malts with some hops. Balanced. Good.

Draught@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some herbal and grassy tones. Flavou ris floral, fruity, some nectary and mild bitterness too. Smooth and refreshing brew.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20230118) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, ripe fruits and creamy toffee. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were pine, fruitiness, ripe fruits, biscuits, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A tasty hoppy brew.

Tap @ Oliver Twist Poured clear golden in color, thick white head. Fresh grassy hoppy nose. Citrusy and resiny bitter. Good drinkability.
