Its rich copper colour is typical of superior amber beers and the delightful aroma of red fruits and caramel will be appreciated. Meduz Ambrée is a top fermentation beer containing two types of barley malts and two types of hops.

Ambar un dedo de espuma ocre. Pronto desaparece por completo Aroma escaso, floral. En boca es ligera de cuerpo, malteada, miel, de tono tirando a dulce. Algo cansina.

330ml. bottle. @home, 24/04/2023 [#6.074 Global - #73 France - #2 Meduz Brewery] Pours amber with a medium and diminishing white head. Almost no lacing. Aroma: caramel malts, mild yeast and toffee. Taste: spiced malts, sweet caramel and mild peppery. Lively mouthfeel. Next one please!

Bottle from Lidl in Thuir, France. This is a nice and mature amber beer that blends a very French sweet malt profile with a very English bitterness (from a bitter). Decent.

Clear medium amber colour, small frothy off-white head, recedes quickly, fair lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel, bit smoky, bit basement. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, smoky notes, medium duration. Medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation, dry bittersweet finish, bit husky, smoky and spicy notes. Peculiar because of its smokiness which I didn’t expect.
