Formerly known as Fat Sherpa, Wandering Star is still a rich, chocolatey classic quaff. More than that, it’s proof that a great robust porter by any other name tastes just as delicious! Brewed using dark malts which are to credit for its night-sky hue and roasty, toasty coffee notes. Lightening up the darkness are some light citrus and floral elements from the hops. Though more subtle than the up-front maltiness, the hops linger longest with a balanced bitterness that fades slow.

Dark brown. Not much head. The aroma is full of coffee, chocolate, and some herbaceous hops. Full body. Light fruity hops, decent bitterness, and good toasty, chocolatey complexity.

473ml can. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a medium, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces nicely. Semi-sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, ash, earth and light caramel in a dry, mild bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Flavourful and easy to drink.
