Deep amber color. super smooth with tons of bready and caramel character. Well made.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear dark copper body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of biscuit, crystal, lightly roasted and caramel like maltiness with no esters noticed but there is a nice mild nuttiness. The taste delivers a bit of malt roast, biscuit and then faint mineral wrapped around caramel malts. Nice. To midway mild sweet vaguely fruity esters seem to be flowing into a nice lager yeastiness into the finish. Pretty solid.
