Paljas Indian Pale Ale is brewed with 100% pale malts. The 4 selected hops (Tomahawk, Cascade, Saaz and Amarillo) are giving a fresh hoppy aroma and a nice bitterness of 35 IBU. This well balanced IPA is dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Hallertau Blanc hops, which gives some flavors of Sauvignon Blanc.

Bottle. A dense, Belgian-style beige head sits on top of a clear dark golden colored body. The aroma is quite fruity, with a weird malt touch. Some medicine notes, some tropical fruit hops and a faint yeast note too. It’s rather effervescent, with a medium body, it’s quite sweet, with not enough bitterness to deal with it. Tropical fruits, strawberry, a generic fruityness and some maltyness in the flavor. Quite bitter in the end. Not a beer I need to repeat. Rather weird. 161209

Trevlig men väl söt.

Hatalmas, hosszan tartó, piszkosfehér hab. Egészen sötét borostyán szín. Illata a világos sörökre jellemző komlós, fűszeres. Íze keserű, erősen fűszeres. Utóíze a komlóról szól, jó keserű. Testes sör.

Nice hop aroma. Very long off-white head, hazy amber color. Medium sweet and bitter, not much bitterness, a little salty, Belgian IPA style. Short finish, bitter aftertaste.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Hazy, orangeish amber with a frothy, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity aroma of mango, orange jam, peach and some spices. Sweetish, fruity taste of mango, orange jam, some honey, peach and hints of pine, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little yeasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!
