Clear chestnut beer with good, thick off-white head. C-hops, dry, some caramel, even toffee. Syrupy, not sweet because of the hops; burnt notes, as scorched caramel. Bit lifeless MF, pretty slick, especially in finish. Hop-dosed, but not exactly easy drinkable, too syrupy for that.

Bottle. Pours a dark red/light brown with a medium beige head. Fruity aroma with malt, alcohol and some raisins. More malt than hops in the taste. Some roasted tones, licorice, caramel, citrus, rather sweet. Medium carbonation. Finish was long and bitter. I thought that it would be much more hoppy than it was.
