Dark brown color; medium sized creamy head. Very nice aroma, rich malt and fruity hops, creamy as well. Very well structured, it has a strong caramel flavor, sweet as much as I like, with a powerful hop presence, really fruity and a bit resiny, all balanced till the final.
It’s not an original beer, but it’s well brewed. Excellent.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazy brown body and a fading tan head. Aroma of caramel and damp forest/earthy hops. Taste is slightly sour at first, then finishes with some hop bitterness.

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 22-10-09. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. The aroma is mostly sweet with fruity malts. Taste is fruity but there is a perfume flavour in the mouth and some good punchy hops. Perhaps this a little too sweet, but there is an ever present bitterness and the perfume and floral touches add to what is a nice beer. A7 A3 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Draught at Københavns Øldage 2009, Valby. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a strong hoppy pine, citrus and grapefruit aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with hopyy bitter pine flavor with hints of citrus. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of citrus in the aftertaste.

Bottled (thanks rsmeds!). Hazy rubyish brown colour, beige mediumsized head. Aroma is brutally fruity, floral and nutty and wooden hoppyness. Bigtime hops in a nice balance. Flavour is the same along with alcohol balancing it up. Perfect balance. Not that much maltyness actually. Geniously brewed, so balanced. And this said, I have lately not been a big IPA/DIPA/IIPA fan... This brew brought up my hopes again!

Draft. A hazy red amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has hops, grapefruit, citrus, and over ripe almost rotten peaches. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, grass, over ripe peaches, and alcohol, leading to a dry, bitter, and alcoholic finish. Not that clean in the hop profile as I’d like.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-07-31) Dark reddish brown and almost clear. Small white head. Fruitiness, sweetness, fresh malts and hops in aroma. Full bodied, warming and dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, sweetness, hops, citricness, molasses and bitterness in taste. Malty and bitter aftertaste.

Bottled@Pikkulintu. Dark amber color, small off-white head. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Fruity, pineapple, light licorice, hayish hops. Not extremely hoppy, but nicely fruity and sweetish, liquerish palate.

On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It pours an unclear, dark golden body under a small off-white head. Resiny hops, citrus, some malty sweetness and beef-stock in the aroma and flavor, both very similar, and both a bit unbalanced. Full-bodied, almost stingingly bitter. Lasting hoppy finish. Even though it’s an unbalanced beer, the use of hops is quite clever, aiming to, and succeeding in, pleasing a hophead. (090515)
