Super Kroon Pale Ale is an old-fashioned Belgian Pale Ale. This beer is brewed on the basis of a historical recipe of the Brewery De Kroon. At that time, the beer was called "Super Crown" Pale Ale in reference to English beers. The wonderful character of the Super Kroon is the result of the use of caramel malts, fermentation with wild yeasts and very intense hopping. EBC 40.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Hazy pale amber, small head. Funky cobwebs, hay and apricots up front. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Dusty cobwebs, ripe peaches and hay. Mid bitter finish. Edgy, but with interesting flavours.

Due to artificial coloured illumination, appearance not estimable, arbitrary 4/5 Rainwater, fresh-smelling, herbal hops, orange- or lemonpeel. Sweet with a slight (CO²) sourish tinge. Again herbal, leafy, and lightly coloured malts, citrus. Light body, good carbonation. Nice drinking beer. truffel???? Smaakt toch anders in mijn boekje

(Bottle, 0.25 l - 09.05.2016, at Tuulensuu, 20150307) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had tin can, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, tin can and bitterness. Aftertaste wasn’t there. Lousy brew.
