Super Kroon ? Je ne vois pas ce que cette bière à de super, je la trouve même quelque peu grossière par rapport à une Orval dont elle se veut être dans la lignée. Le visuel est sur un ambré voilé avec une fine effervescence soutenue et une mousse blanc cassé abondante et crémeuse. Le nez est sur une alliance Brett, pomme, citron, bois et fraise. En bouche, nous retrouvons ces arômes avec une complexité très loin de l'Orval. On trouve tout de même en complément de légères épices avec une douceur relativement présente sur une base fraise/caramel. La vivacité est tout de même correcte mais sur une intensité moyenne tout comme la corpulence. L'alcool, à 6,8 % est très correct quant à lui. L’arrière-bouche revient alors sur l'acidité (un brin trop pour moi). Le final, court, est quant à lui peu intéressant. Une sous-Orval.

Dry fruity beginning. Bitter dry, intense fruity with a great bitter but floral back. Malty, grainy fruity, bitter dry.

Fles gekregen van BartvG, thanks! Het is is een troebel koperkleurig bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige, frisse gistachtige geur. De smaak is fruitig, zoetig en wat zuur.

Bouteille 25cl, merci Benoit, BB 04/09/2017. Légér ambre, col épais blanc-cassé. Arôme est malté caramel, pointe d'épices, sur petit rétro de levure, retrouve un léger houblonné en rétro tirant sur un côté pomme verte. Palais est malté, caramel pâle, pointe presque crystal et biscuitée, fruité avec une petite note de cassis, pomme verte, classique belge dans l'approche de levure avec sur la fin un petit côté épicé rappelant l'anis.

F: medium size, tan, good retention. C: deep amber with coppery hue, hazy. A: malt, brett, fruity, apple, black currant, hint of lemon, vinous, woody. T: malt, caramel, fruity, touch of citrus, black currant, hint of woody, medium body, medium carbonation, spicy, not usual beer, anno 2015, may be too old, BB: 04/09/17, 25cl bottle from De Keyzer Drinks in Brussels.

Rusty dark orange colour. There are some hints of caramel in the aroma but it’s dominated by funky Brett. Flavour has it too along with lots of sweet fruity esters

Hazy deep amber colour, good two finger frothy beige head, half-way lasting, light lacing. Fruity aroma, sour apple, vinegar, brett, grass. Taste combination of sweet, sour and bitter, malty, citrusy, dusty, herbal notes, average to long duration, dry bitter finish, bit chalky. Medium body, watery to oily texture, smooth mouthfeel, average carbonation. Peculiar and interesting, when looking at the other tasting notes it seems that my version was slightly infested but I enjoyed it anyway.

Clear amber colour, whit head. Malty aroma, hops, caramel, yeast, tropical fruits. Light bitter flavour, malts, yeast, somewhat stroef. Malty finish, some hops.

Bottle 250ml. @ [ PBF X ] Petalax Beer Festival 2015 by oh6gdx, Petalax, Finland. [ As De Kroon Super Kroon ].Clear medium orange - amber yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, tart malt, earthy malt - hay - dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, earthy, dusty, sweet malt - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150725]
