mahogany, the mouth is very malty and tastes like oak, but it is driven by the sorachi ace and willimette hops. Very odd flavors but highly enjoyable. This is a mild on crack mainlining heroine. Clearly more bitter than a British example. Fantastic stuff.

Clear med dark Amber color. Toffee, grapefruit nose with a touch of woodiness. Def a Us take on the style. Medium full body, creamy with lots of toffee, chocolate and woody notes. Great depth. Spicy hop kick in the finish with toffee lingering and lingering. Wow. Great beer.

Half pint at Devil Craft Hamamatsucho shared by TimE, thanks! Clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, wood, pine, light floral. Tastes of citrus, caramel, pine, toffee, light floral. Medium body with a dry finish. Very nice and interesting.
