[2/26/15] Draught at Fifth Quadrant in Portland. Dark brown to black. Sourish aroma with dark fruits, vanilla, wine, a bit of vinegar and some roast. Sour flavor with dark fruits, a bit of roast and some vinegar. Medium-bodied.

Very dark brown color. White head. Big spur nose with tons of sour dark fruit and chocolate with modest roastiness. Huge molasses sour plum, chocolate and oak mouth. Intense. And fairly sour. Big sour molasses and dark fruit finish. Good stuff. Surprised it was in bourbon barrels, I couldn’t get any notes.
