med amber color. Very tempting nose with notes of oak, Syrah wine and a mishmash of spices. Very Christmas yummy like nose. Tons of Syrah hits you when you take the first sip. Very smooth mouth, but somewhat boozy. Gingerbread, oak, butterscotch in the mouth. Very malty. Med heavy. Don’t know the ABV but probably pretty high. Lingering oaky and butterscotch finish. Slightly warming. Wow, great winter warmer and highly enjoyable on a cold rainy day in Seattle.
