Thanks Arianna,
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy golden burnt orange color with a slim finger’s worth of a white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving a decent sporadic yet spider web lacing.
The smell had a nice balance of citrus sweet hops, light bitter, slight tart and having a decent yeasty / breadiness.
The taste was mainly sweet with the nice bready / yeasty coming back to balance in a really nice way. The citrus seemed fairly subdued but was there in a decent balanced sort of way.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. There’s a citrusy aftertaste leading into a nice crisp citrus finish.
Overall, what a wonderful saison that I know I would have again.

a touch of hay, grains of paradise, cardamom, oranges. Full bodied, moderately dry, but nit funky or dry enough. Saison on training wheels. Just not a style most American brewers can do well.

My first beer from this brewer - brought to the January 2012 3R6P tasting. +++Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy vibrant golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was a touch musty with moderate citrus and pepper and a chamomile presence. The flavor was floral and herbal with a chamomile note and notes of tangy and sweet bread and an earthy undertone. The finish was long and tangy with citrus and chamomile lingering. Surprisingly full bodied. Solid.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a small frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a bready malt and wheat. Medium mouthfeel with an earthy hop and bready malt and light bitter finish. A decent saison from Left Coast.

Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. You want it, Fred has it. But ya gotta get it quick. Pours hazy orange gold with a creamy foamy off-white head. Aroma is citrus, some low lying yeast/spice and a bit of earthiness. Near med body. It starts lightly earthy, has some Belgian yeast aspects, and finishes off with some reasonably earthy citrus. Pretty dang tasty.
