Bottle at M-Café, Leuven. Aroma of spicy yeast, ripe fruits, apricot, a little farmhouse funk, herbal notes, a hint of vegetables, light malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium, lively carbonation. Enjoyable ultra-Belgian Saison with a big farmhouse character.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy golden beer with a off-white head. Aroma of herbal pale malt, yeast, some herbs. Taste of herbal pale malt, yeast, some flowers, medium carbonation.

F: big, egg-white, good retention. C: gold/amber, hazy, yeasty debris. A: malty, spicy, orange, peppery, mellow fruity, banana, sweat. T: malty, sharp fruity, orange, banana, yeasty, peppery, cheese, bit tropical fruits, medium to full body, high carbonation, not bad good balanced but for relative high ABV not very easy drinkable, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Leuven.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, slight fruity. Sweet, phenolic and toasted malty. Slight fruity. Estery and mild phenolic finish.

Een bier van HtD, wacht even... ik loop als eerste even naar de gootsteen om hem daar te openen. eerst maar even de metalen kooi los draaien voordat straks alle ellende begint tijdens het ontkurken, BAM !!! al tijdens het losdraaien van de metalen case zegt de kroonkurk al.... tering ik heb mijn nocht en hou het voor gezien.... met een werkelijk enorme knal waar menig vuurwerkproducent trots op mag zijn wil de kroonkurk een weg boren in mijn plafond.... gelukkig zit dit er een beetje stevig waardoor de schade beperkt blijft tot mijn trommelvliezen... maar wacht ... wat is er aan de hand.... de gusher blijft uit... hoe kan dit nou ??? is dit wel een bier van de brouwerij Hof Ten Dormaal ?? hmmmm dan maar pogen te drinken, schenkt iig wazig, amber met schuimige witte kraag. Aroma wat zure saison.... ha het zuur... bekende beleving bij deze brouwer.... smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig zuur, citrus, stevig alcoholisch, saison kruiden, sinaasappel, metalig, gras, bittertje, hooi/stro... medium body, glad met lage co2.... mwaaahhh
