A light top-fermented wheat beer. The only non-pilsner type beer at our brewery. It is strong flavored, medium-bodied, while its mild bitterness is also characteristic. Unlike the other beers of the brewery it is pasteurized. Only available in kegs.

This one hinted at greatness with a few wheat beer/hefe notes but it all came across as too weak. I wanted more. It’s like they took two bottles’ worth of beer, split them up, and added water. It just ain’t the way to go, Czech brewers.

(Draught at Prague Beer Museum, Prague, 19 July 2014) Hazy golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with banana, clove, white bread and grass. Malty, wheaty taste with notes of white bread, banana, apples and clove. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Low bitterness. Hardly exciting, but well made and drinkable hefeweizen. Quite nice.

Točené v hopspodě "U rokytky" v Praze: Golden with a faint orangey sheen, mid-sized firm creamy head; yeasty-wheaty nose, quite dry with hints of bananas; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied, relatively soft; some bananas in the short sourish wheaty finish. O.K. .....
