Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass copper coloured, small head. Woody alcoholic aroma. Starts strong, spicy, alcoholic. Some fruity notes as well, dried fruits, some apricot. Warming-malty alcoholic finish. Interesting!

Bottle 125/658. Fruity sherry dry nose. The beer starts mild ad fruity. Grainy back with hints of wood. The sherry is very dry, intense fruity but in total a bit neutral. Nice try but sessionable with nice aroma. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sherry Bier on 06 May 2020 at 22:50 - Score: 6. Original review text: Bottle 125/658. Fruity sherry dry nose. Getreidig-süßlicher, trocken hellmalziger Beginn. Intensiv holzig, süffig, rund würzig. Mild alkoholisch, viel helles Malz, trockener, rund getreidiger Nachhall. Gut! 10/9/9/10/10/

330ml bottle [#384/658, Edition 2017/18]. Cloudy, dark amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Nice, though slightly weak, Sherry aroma, typical sweet-ish dessert wine flavours, a touch of mandarine, caramel. Taste is slightly dry and minimally sweet, malty, notes of medio seco Sherry, widely disguised basic beer that allows the Sherry flavours to unfold; citrusy overtones with a touch of lemon, madarine and orange, well hidden alcohol. A beer that really profits from BA. Not bad.
