On tap at Farm Country, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry, earthy, toasted malt and a bit of hoppy bitterness. Flavour is fairly roasty, with earthy, roasted malt, some cocoa, and a fair bit of hoppy bitterness. Roasty and bitter finish. Decently balanced. Solid hoppy stout.

Smells softly of barley with some vague coffee and chocolate notes. Has good creamy foam though was poured too high for it to get too exciting and a good smooth black body. Flavour is smooth coffee and dark chocolate with soft barley notes. Mouthfeel is full but pulling back a little, it wouldn't hurt for them to make this just a bit thicker. This is a perfectly decent stout, highly drinkable.
