Bottle. Pours clear reddish brown with large vanishing foamy head. Aroma is fruity with notes of cherry and redcurrant but also some malt and caramel. Taste is heavy sour and medium sweet. Body is creamy with lively carbonation. Finish is medium long and medium acidic and sweet and light bitter with notes of cherry, redcurrant, caramel, malt, brown sugar and almonds. Definitely a dessert beer!

On tap at Grünerløkka brygghus. Very dark red with an off-white to pink head. Aroma of cherries, malt and caramel. Very fruity! Quite sweet with a dominating cherry flavour and a lightly acidic and slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body with a fairly soft carbonation. Decent dessert beer, but a bit to sweet for my taste. Dark ruby color, with medium sized creamy head. Strange aroma, fruity (berries). Good body strength; the mouthfeel is smooth, also because of the high carbonation; malt and berries flavor, with moderate sweetness and light sourness; correct bitterness.
Pleasant, atypical, easy to drink.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow tasting, thanks to Henrik, 20/01/13. Hazed reddish amber with a thin off white head. Nose is dark fruit, spice, touch of booze, plastic. Taste comprises dark fruits, raisens, brown sugars, booze, wood. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Ok but not one to bother with again, lacks complexity.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow tasting, thanks to HenrikO. It pours hazy deep red with a medium off-white head. The nose is red berry, raisin, raspberry yoghurt, vanilla and toffee. The taste is tart red berry, jam, wood, earth, sweet syrup, cherryade and caramel with a dry, sweetish finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Hides ABV very well. Interesting. A tasty fruity beer.

Draught @ Gastropub Nordic
Aroma is strawberries, some vanilla and hints of toffee. Flavour is rather strong on somewhat tart strawberries. Also some woody and earthy notes. In blind tasting I’d take this as a fruit beer.
