Location: 12 oz bottle at Max Lagers, 4/17/13
Aroma: The nose is citrus hops, some caramel and pale malts, and a hint of floral hop
Appearance: This one has a bright orange pour, a white head, and some fairly heavy lacing
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose component-wise, mildly sweet and medium-plus bitter
Palate: The body is medium, the carbonation is average-plus, and it has a dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was solid enough, but not great, considering that I was drinking this right after the house "Hopsplosion!!!" draft, and I liked that one more...

Brewvival Trip Beer 51. 12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Duluth. I figured it was a fitting name for my last beer in Atlanta. Pours a murky yellow-amber with floating particles. Medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Looks pretty funky. Aroma of floral, herbal hops with a bit of citrus. Caramel malts. The taste is bitter herbal, vegetal hops and caramel malts. Some citrus on the finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

On tap at Taco Mac Prado. Pours a clear deep orange gold with a fluffy white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has a nice sweet but slightly earthy citrus note with a light backing grain. Flavor has an earhy citrus note that has a hint of sweetness backed by earthy but sweet grain.

Hazy golden pour with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and grainy malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, sweet malt and a bit of grapefruit. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Not crazy about this. Hop nose is restrained, initially all sweet caramel malt and maybe even a hint of diacetyl, but then it showed some floral and citrus hops. Flavor starts with a peppery hop burst then some thick caramel mouthfeel. Lingering citrus pepper bitterness. More bitter than flavored by hops, too heavy with malts. Usual amber color.

Enjoyed on tap at Turner Field in Atlanta, GA while enjoying a Giants vs. Braves game. This stuff was great for a ballpark brew! I didnβt take tasting notes because I was too busy taking in Melky Cabreraβs arrogance, but I remember this being pretty damn good and hoppy with a light potency and citrusy goodness. Again, great ballpark brew!
