Harvest Ale is our celebration of the changing weather and the sowing of hops and barley that will be used in our upcoming brews. We usher in the fall with a classic English style Extra Special Bitter of the highest order. Deep ruby in color with an even deeper hop flavor… in fact, we throw fresh English hops into every brewing vessel, then dry hop after fermentation to impart a zesty kick. This beer has real hop character that mingles with fresh malted barley for an experience that will make you wish it were fall year ‘round.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Appearance is clear gold/light amber with faint sparkle, 1/2-finger width fizzy white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is light malt, fruit, resin. Taste is fruit, resin, with mild earth and malt base. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and malty and light citrus finish. Overall, good amount of hops though a lot of that is bitter resin, which isn’t my favorite. Good for the style.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange color. Small fluffy beige head. Toasted grain and fruity hops in nose. Flavor follows nose with caramel notes and tropical fruit. Complex hops in middle add spice and depth. Finish is bitter and peppery. Delicious.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Daniel. Pours clear gold with a frothy off-white head. The nose has some rindy citrus, leafy hops, toasted grains. Light to medium sweet flavor with some herbal hops, orange rind, sugary bread, some graham crackers. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with toasted grainy malts, light caramel, honey, aged pine. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Dan. It pours cloudy orange - amber with a small white head. The nose is fresh, toasty, grainy, brown bread, apricot, marmalade, cereal and fruit cake. The taste is bitter, toasty, grain, brown bread, light spice, brown bread, cereal and light stone fruits with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Rather quaffable stuff.
