This wheat beer is a refreshing soft light bitter beer. Spiced with coriander and orange peel and brewed with trappistyeast. Based on its higher alcohol content and full taste, it can be categorized under the Double Whites. (Since december 2003).

Hazy gold-blonde; good yellow-white head, good lace. Nose is coriander², overwhelming a bit of orange peel, perfumey. Taste is coriander again, and orangepeel, but the balance is OK. Sweet, with a tinge of citrussy acidity. Light to medium bodied. Not very refreshing, slight sticky mouthfeel. Very strong for a witbier (an American brewer would call it dubbel-wit instantly), but quite traditional for the rest. The balance is superb, however.
