a touch cloying sweet rich. Not too bad but not great. I wouldn’t try again.

Opaque black pour with a small dark tan head. Nose has loads of dark chocolate with coffee, vanilla, dark fruit and some resin. Lightly sweet caramel under a medium bitter chocolate and coffee. Medium full creamy mouth with soft carbonation and a linger dry bitter finish. Nice easy sipping balance.

L’Exploite was served as a Montreal style cream ale(meaning a Nitro pour) at the brewery. It has a great roasty chocolate/coffee totally mocha aroma. Incredibly smooth and satisfying stout - a double prize winner WBC gold and WBA gold. Which it totally deserved, this was a well-nigh spot on stout.

Bottle @ joes shared by benzai. Dark brown to black colour with a small beige head. Smells mocha, sweet, chocolate, roasty, coffee, iron. Tastes iron, coffee, roasty, chocolate. Can’ get rid of the iron, bummer. Medium body, nice carbo.

Bottle shared with Joes, Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah @ weekly tasting. Opaque black color, small light brown head. Aroma is malts, coffee, iron, mocha, roasted malts. Taste is malts, loads of mocha, loads of chocolate, liquid chocolate pudding, a touch of sweet and some bitter. Thick, very thick and oily texture, full body, medium carbonation.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein sehr dunkles fast schwarzes Bier mit schöner cremigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, süß schokoladig, Kaffee. Geschmack süß schokoladig, Kaffee, leicht bitter röstmalzig.

Botella de 33 cl en cimmeria. 27-01-2014. En el momento. Color negro intenso con espuma oscura poco persistente. Cuerpo medio bastante fácil de beber que a medida que va calentando aumenta ligeramente..... Aromas tostados y quemados algo ahumados sobre todo al principio. Especias vainilla y final bastante presente a café..... Sabores tostados y algo quemados ligeros con presencia de lactosa que lo suaviza todo finalizando con café quemado y un pequeño regusto amargo que se combina con la vainilla y el café tostado de manera genial y sobretodo en aumento según va calentando . .......Muy buena birra con sabores bien combinados y bastante intensos para sus 6.5 vol que encima se van acentuando según va calentando. Bien equilibrada. Para repetir claro, sin problema.
