Intense amber color is a special choice for donkere mout. Betty Ford beer is the name of Betty Ford, the first lady of the State's First Lady, in the name of a military and cultural historian named after the Betty Ford Clinic. Het beer zelf is an eerbetoon maar verwijst vooral als gimmick naar het lage alcoholgehalte in his Wilderen portfolio.

On tap @ Café den Tollensteeghe, Culemborg.
Clear copper with an off-white head. Malty caramel aroma. Sweet taste with a low-bitter finish. More alike to a speciale Belge than an Irish red ale in my opinion but decent nonetheless.

Taste: malty, lots of cow fodder, hint of sulphur, very malty, bitter touch, bit grassy. Aftertaste: soapy bitterness, lots of grains, very malty finish.
