This beer was made in homage to the Swedish tale of the Witches of Blåkulla. The tale says during Maundy Thursday (the day preceeding Good Friday) witches would grab their broomstick and fly to the Blåkulla mountain in Gotland where they'd feast and party with the devil. We like to believe times have changed and now the witches fly out there to hang out, listen to some blasting underground techno and drink this beautifully dank and juicy dark beer. Double dryhopped with an absurd amount of Mosaic and Cryo Amarillo.

Where: Systembolaget.
Appearance: Dark brown colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Liquorice, grapefruit, fruit, roasted malt.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Roasted malt, liquorice, fruit, grapefruit.

440ml Can - Dark brown with a foamy tan head. Pine, liquorice and fudge in the aroma. Hoppy and slightly roasted taste with liquorice, citrus, pine, fudge and some slightly soapy notes.

Burk från SB. Mörkbrun med högt hållbart beige skum. Doft av lakrits, svarta vinbär och mörk malt. Medelsöt, stor mjuk kropp. Mycket svarta vinbär, mörkt bröd, lakrits, blodgrape. Medelstor beska. Snygg och balaserad smakbild men mjuk munkänsla. Gott

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Almost black with a medium tan head. Aroma of licorice, some dark malt and chocolate. The same in the taste, also grapefruit. The body was medium as was the bitterness. A decent one.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, rich head. Aroma of licorice and black currant. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, dark bread and black currant. Very bitter finish. Spot on!
