Bottle from Yamaichi. Fruity, spicy nose. Minerals, light citrus, grassy hop, dry caramel malt. Rather typical Belgian amber. Clear amber with a low, fine head. Sweet caramel malt, stone fruits, light orange, some minerals. Light and subtle, spices not overwhelming, nicely bitter finish. Decent stuff. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with all their beers so far.

330ml Bottle at home on 19th January 2014 - Christmas gift. Pours deep copper with off-white non-lacing foam. Mild, malty aromas with some nuttiness. Malty in-mouth with plenty of caramel, butterscotch, rye-bread notes and touch of salt. Bittersweet finish with long lasting sweetness and cooked veg. Find carbonation and medium body.

33 cl. bottle @ Gruut bar. Lovely glass. Appearance is clear copper amber with a very creamy white head that never disappears. Smells of brown sugar, leaves, plenty of herbs & caramel apples. Taste is pretty simple, herbal, candied apples, Moroccan dried fruits, candied apples, plenty of brown sugar, herbal notes dominate all. Fluffy body. Pretty simple & basic, lacks a bit pizzazz but enjoyable all the same.

@Gent, amber met witte kraag matig zoet, licht bitter, ietwat caramel, niet zo’n geslaagd biertje, de smaken vind ik wat minder, niet slecht maar ook geen topper
