Can. Super pale yellow with a white head. Grainy aroma with super light hops, light sweet malts, yeast, and slight spice. Flavor is dominated by the grains, a touch of honey and sweet malts, and light hops- damn near non-existant. It’s all right, I guess. But nothing special.

Sample at the "From Russia With Suds" tasting on 01/02/10: The beer is a clear yellow color with a thin white head that diminishes to a film quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey and malt. Light body with flavors of sweet honey, grass and malt. The finish is sweet with malt and floral notes in the aftertaste. Not a bad beer, the flavors just aren’t assertive enough in the end. Slightly below average overall.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy white foam. Sweet, slightly grainy and milky aroma with herbal and minimal grassy hops. Sweet and faint bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. One-dimensional and shy pale malty taste with traces of grains; sweet malty finish with only traces of hoppy bitterness. The Russian brother of Warsteiner Premium. 04.I.10

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a small, white head. Grainy nose with hints of burnt plastic. Fruity hops saves the day. Pale malts, a fruity touch and a decent bitterness in the mouth. Medium full, dry. A bit low on bitterness in the finish, and with a metallic hint. Not very good, even for a pale lager. 090829

Pours amber with a small persistent head. The aroma shows sweet malt but is faint, and some vegetal notes are present in the background.Rich malty flavours, but still slightly reminiscent of cooked vegetables. At least the carbonation isn’t too high.

Pours a very boring off-yellow with a little bit of head, at least. Aroma is a very alcohol-ish scent with some hints of grains. Has a flavour of very faint grains, barely any malts. just blasée if you ask me.
