Oct 2006: Very pale golden colour with a thick white head, when poured from my brown pint bottle into a Duvel glass, the head didn’t stay thick for long though. No aroma to talk of, sorry. Dry and watery taste really, no body to the beer at all, I was expecting more flavour too. All in all, not very impressed, I shall not be trying this beer again.

Originally rated may 2005. Baltika Classic #3 pours a light golden colour with a great cream-bubble white head. The lacing left is very thick all-over and retention is solid. The carbonation is full of super tiny bubbles swimming to surface, here and there. The nose has mostly malt with slight alcohol in the background. Creamy mouthfeel. Taste of grain malt and some mild hop. Average lager.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow / golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste just like an ordinary pale lager: malts, straw, grains. Very basic. Nothing wrong about it but a bit dull.

Bottle @ home. Another winner found in the back of the fridge. Clear, golden appearance with a small white head. Grassy, straw, hay, grainy, pale malty aroma. Bland, grainy pale malty, straw, hay, lager flavor. Decent pale lager but still a boring, bland beer

Boks 0,5l. Gave fra Rune. Fortært i heimen 2 Jun 11. Lysegulgrønn. Lavt kremaktig skum. Mye bobler på glasset. Ikke pent. Søt maltaroma med innslag av pepper. Vassen, søt maltsmak med litt parfyme. Kjedelig. KI=5.
