Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish malt, spicy yeast, candied fruity notes, fairly sugary. Flavour is sticky sweet and lightly bitter. Body is medium. I have no idea what happened here, since I really liked the regular Tripel. The bio version seems much less fruity for one. Quite average.

Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a hazy light golden/yellow colour with a large thick creamy white head. Aromas of yellow fruits, apples and pears. Taste is similar with added notes of citrus, light floral and a fairly sweet finish. Thinnish body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice enough but maybe a tad too sweet for me personally.

Le bio est à la mode est grand bien en fasse à la nature. Concernant notre palais en l'occurrence ici, cela n'est pas totalement le cas (et de ma petite expérience, cela est souvent le cas, la mention bio étant actuellement davantage un affichage marketing). Les arômes sur une dominante fruitée ne sont cependant pas désagréables, mais des déséquilibres dans la structure et notamment avec une arrière bouche et un final quelque peu brouillons, desservent l'ensemble. La robe blond doré limpide est toutefois belle. Une fine mousse couvre la surface. Le nez est sur une dominante fruitée (pomme, citron, pêche, abricot) agrémentée d'une touche florale. A l'attaque, une petite acidité vient nous troubler. Des arômes de coriandre, relativement prégnants viennent s'ajouter à ceux présents au nez. En deuxième bouche, si la coriandre baisse d'intensité, L'alcool s'affirme légèrement pour donner un peu de caractère. L'arrière bouche est cependant brouillonne et confuse. La troisième bouche présente un alcool s'affirmant encore quelque peu avant un final sur une amertume légèrement acidulée qui manque également de lisibilité. Si la prise en bouche est bonne, la longueur est un peu limite pour une triple qui présente de la fraîcheur mais qui reste décevante.

Clear dark blond beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very yeasty, bit fruity, banana, sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, bit sweet, sourish touch, yeast, spicy, coriander, hint of liquorish. Aftertaste: very spicy, little bitter, yeast, spicy, banana peel.
