330ml can from B+M Bargains - Clear gold to bronze body, thin head. Nose is watery citrus hop notes, taste has a little more bite. Mothing lingering, all a bit standard really.

330ml can BBE July 2021 @ 4.2% and sold as an 'American Amber'. Pours more towards gold than amber, small white head but no real retention; disappointing. Hoppy aroma with citrus as well as caramel malts, pleasant but very basic. Taste has a little more to it being hoppy, tangy, fruity as well as caramel malts. Moderate body and soft carbonation works well. Mixed but Ok for a £1.

330ml can from B&M. Poured a light reddish amber with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a rich, toffee, light fruity, light dry pepper spice, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

30/7/2020. Can from Beers of Europe. First I’ve had from their new canned range. “Traditional brewer does modern” often doesn’t work and this wasn’t really an exception. Quite thin, and not much flavour. Aroma is ok, light, fruity, citrusy, grapefruit, touch resinous and grainy. Very so so this canned version, interesting to see all the high scores were from cask.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW) Bristol, March 2019. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Light leafy hop character, rich tea malts, hay some stone fruits and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.
