Golden colour under very small-bubbled, fine and dense head leaving textbook lace. Straw, hay, grass and some pale malts in the nose. Dry-grainy & malty pilsener with, if anything, a flavour of freshly mown grass. Light, some gristslickness. Decent, but nothing more, pilsner. Could well be a labelbeer of the Diekirch Exclusive.

(Bottle 25 cl) Yet another pilsener from Martens - this time brewed for the Delhaize supermarkets. Pale golden, small white head. Flowery nose, good malty body and a rather bitter finish. An all-malt beer and very German in style. Far from the softer Belgian pils-style. 051297
