2010-06-05, RBESG 2010, bottle at Birra+ beershop, Rome, 8-4-8-5-16=41
as TripIPA Luppolo Fresco

Hazy amber color; creamy head. Nice hop aroma, lightly fruity and sweaty. Creamy malt flavor, smooth mouthfeel, good aromatic hopping, bitter oranges. Difficult to drink with the hop flowers in the glass, but good and fresh.

2010-06-05, RBESG 2010, draught at Open Baladin, 8-5-8-5-16=42
as TripIPA Special Edition

Cloudy amber color. Very nice, pungent aroma, passion fruit and grapefruit. Caramel flavor, with limited residual sweetness, and a very good hopping. The final is not particularly strong, but it's well balanced. Very good brew.

An unclear dark golden beer with a beige head and some hops floating around. The aroma is very grassy, hoppy, and grapefruity. The flavor is sweet and totally dominated by hops lending it grassy and grapefruity notes, leading to a very bitter finish.
