After brewing and fermentation, CH’TI beers is kept for long weeks in storage tanks. In the calm and cool (0°C) environment, the beer matures, develops a finer taste, perfects its aroma and acquires its natural and characteristic sparkles. It is here also that the beer obtains its balance, finesse and gleam. The Blonde is brewed since 1979.

A bit of a strong smell with a taste of alcohol and only the faintest funk that I expected after the Biere de garde I had. Not really that memorable.

clear blond beer, off-white aery head, dissipates immediately. Aroma: candi sugar, unripe fruits, green banana, bit of malts. Mf: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit of honey, sweet malts, sugar, grapefruit, oranges. Aftertaste: little bitter, fruity touches. Non offensive and that's about it.

Süffig süßlicher Antrunk mit zwischenzeitlichen Herbenoten. Die Hefigkeit ist angenehm aber keineswegs stark. Zum Ende alkoholisch-würzig, hellmalzig, unspektakulär. In Ordnung, mehr nicht. 7/8/7/7/6/7

Warning! Early amateur rating! Malty blonde beer. Nice body, drinkable without being heady.

Pours a light golden-orange colour hazed by the millions of floaties all around created by the yeast. Its head is frothy, white, has good retention and leaves thick and chunky lacing. It definitely looks like a craft beer. The aromas remind me of a pilsner, mixed with a lighter Belgian brew. Spices, bread, biscuit, honey and grain malt. A little oily in the mouthfeel, but quite refreshing. It has well-blended flavours, with some sweetness, some bitterness and some grainy middle. A decent finish with hop, which is not too bitter, but shows some hints of citrus and pine. Quite a beautifully crafted brew that I would have again.

Biggish offwhite head. Yellow body. Herbal papery aroma of dry maquis with raisin notes. Very clear and distinct. Dry-sweet papery raisiny strawy taste with spicy herbal notes. Light body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry cinnamon and spice aftertaste with herbal notes. Not very distinct from main taste, really. Very nice. Harmonic and vivid. Really enjoyed this. (0.5l can, E.
