After brewing and fermentation, CH’TI beers is kept for long weeks in storage tanks. In the calm and cool (0°C) environment, the beer matures, develops a finer taste, perfects its aroma and acquires its natural and characteristic sparkles. It is here also that the beer obtains its balance, finesse and gleam. The Blonde is brewed since 1979.

Has a syrupy, wheaty aroma. Very nice pour with a good golden colour and plenty of head. Nice lemony flavour, some malts, semi-sweet finish.

Can. Dark gold color with a passing white head. Light citric aroma. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Fruity, hoppy and reasonably dry. BC would likely be better.

Bouteille 750ml.

50cl can from a Monoprix in Colombes, Paris. Standard lager looks; amber with a thick white head; lemon citrus aroma with a hint of spice; lively in the mouth with sweet bready flavour and some indistinct fruit; fresh and clean finish with a touch of bitterness. A very pleasant drink, but nothing more.

[75cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck] Hazy, golden colour with a blonde foamy head. Sweet and grainy malty aroma with citrus [grape-fruit] and herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Grainy malty base with lemony fruity notes. Slightly bitter and slightly sourish grape-fruity finish. Not too complex but aromatic and rounded brew [20.XII.08].

Bottle in Paris, 2006. Light blonde color. Highly carbonated. Good head. Slightly sweet, malt aroma. Huge hops. Tastes more like a pils than a Belgian ale. Decent malt character, just a bit sweet. A very interesting brew, a bit unlike any other type. Malt finish with a lot of hops too. There is a bit of sweetness remaining, a touch of fruit.
