After brewing and fermentation, CH’TI beers is kept for long weeks in storage tanks. In the calm and cool (0°C) environment, the beer matures, develops a finer taste, perfects its aroma and acquires its natural and characteristic sparkles. It is here also that the beer obtains its balance, finesse and gleam. The Blonde is brewed since 1979.

F: big, white, good retention. C: gold, clear. A: malty, grassy, floral, bit caramel, bit bread. T: malty, sweet grassy, bit caramel, hint of metallic, weak bitterness, too sweet for me but it is probably according to the style, medium body and carbonation, 33cl bottle from Carrefour hypermarket in Hazebrouck, France.

Clear deep golden colour, mid-sized frothy off-white head, dissipating slowly, fair lacing. Aroma, toasted malts, toffee, fudge, honey, whisky, dough. Smooth taste, light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, toffee, fruity. Sweetbitter aftertaste, bit peppery, light alcohol, medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation. A smooth bière de garde, easy to drink, up till now the best Ch’ti.

From old tasting notes. Bright brassy gold color. Small creamy white head. Spicy toasted malt nose. Sweet, earthy toasted malt flavor. Nicely rounded dryish malt finish. Very tasty with a warming mouthfeel.

33cl bottle at BeerHouse Craft&Kitchen, Vilnius. Pours clear deep golden with a decent looking white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with notes of Belgian yeast and hint of alcohol. Medium sweet with medium to low flavour intensity and a fairly light bitterness. Fair enough.
