After brewing and fermentation, CH’TI beers is kept for long weeks in storage tanks. In the calm and cool (0°C) environment, the beer matures, develops a finer taste, perfects its aroma and acquires its natural and characteristic sparkles. It is here also that the beer obtains its balance, finesse and gleam. The Blonde is brewed since 1979.

Nose is yeast, straw, slight peach. Taste follows with an odd lactose note in the finish. Forgettable. Had again, I had no lactose this time, but rather had caramel, honey cereal and peppery booze. Liked it much less seemingly.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes dunkelgoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, würzig, hefig. Geschmack fruchtig süß, würzig malzig.

Bottle, thanks mom and dad, dense stable creamy head, crystal clear and a little deep golden colour, aroma of bee wax, candy and fruity hints, candy malty light yeasty flavour with fruity hints, creamy mouthfeel, light bitterness, long lasting lemon sour aftertaste. Pleasant, refreshing and easy to drink.

Bottle split in Rilester’s car on a drive through Belgium, pretty sure I can put this one down to a Leighton super market sweep, 23/03/13. Clear mid golden with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is cereals, grass, pale malts, light citrics. Taste comprises light caramel, hay, herbal ring, light spice, pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying closure. Ok stuff, clean and simple.

Der Geruch ist leicht mehlig. Das ganze Bier ist ziemlich neutral-süßlich, im Nachgeschmack leicht scharf-herb. Sehr nichts sagend, dabei sehr süffig... - Nichts Besonderes!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tempo. Thanks Nahum. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of grains, some fruitiness, a bit of spiciness and a bit of cardboard. Sweetish flavor with some fruitiness, spiciness, alcoholic notes and light cardboard notes. Medium-bodied.

Bottle 0.33l, thanks to FatPhil. BBE 03/06/14. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, yeast, sweetness and malts.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 03/06/14, courtesy of FatPhil, 20130914) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had paper, fruitiness and hint of honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were paper, fruitiness, honey, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had hint of fruitiness and bitterness.

33 cl. bottle @ Ralph’s bar – possible a vintage. Consumed @ my goodbye office party. Picked out by a wonderful ex-co-worker. Slightly better but not much than the Carlsberg I was drinking @ the same time. Probably not to of or very authentic for the style. Golden, lightly hazy, white head. Quite grainy, some cornflakes, hay, bit dull yeast, malty, some white spices & herbs, dull hops. m/m body meh – still this is the same thing I would have chosen – so well-done – thx!
