A Bright Spectacle of a Hazy IPA

This fascinating ferment is full of fabulous Sabro, Citra and Cashmere hops for a smooth, tropical fruitiness. A slightly bitter, densely hazy phenomenon that's strangely light in mouthfeel, keeping you satiated and still coming back for more.

Not really hazy in appearance but Aromas and flavors are hoppy but low bitter citrusy with a little bit of melon or stone fruit in there. Good body and carbonation. Nice finish very drinkable beer.

Not much here. Starts well enough, with a brisk slice of lemon, grapefruit zest, and pineapple, then a hint of grainy sweetness, then absolutely nothing on the finish. No citrus, no malt, no bitternessโ€”itโ€™s like a beer-flavored La Croix, with a brief swipe of flavor and a whole lot of bubbly nothing. Crisp texture is nice, but no reason to finish the pint.

Month old can A: Poured a big 1 white meringue head that held up very well atop a pale gold body full of suspended sediment. S: Fresh lemon lime citrus hops over light crusty bread. T: Bitter and sweet at once with lemon pith and pulp competing with wood, mild sweetness and alcohol. Woody aftertaste. M: Medium body with average carbonation, finishing fairly dry. O: Balanced lemon and wood, leaning slightly malty. Simple and tasty.

Can from Beer Baron. Pours a mostly clear straw color with a finger of white foam that lingers. Pineapple, guava and light mango aromas on the nose with some faint citrus notes. Low perceived bitterness on the palate but not really a NE IPA. Prickly pear, crisp carbonation and tropical fruit on the finish. Enjoyable.

Can from Craft Shack. Pours lightly hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is soft tropical and citrus with some lightly bready malt support. Med body. A bit fizzy in the mouth. Flavor has melon, citrus and strangely coconut. A touch earthy. Quite dry. Decently hoppy. Moderately bitter. Not to be insulting, but it will be great pool beer.
