Golden abbey beer with strong sweetness. Ninkasi Triple first impresses with its silky, malted body, its high alcohol content then instantaneously warming the throat. Finally, a slight but persistent bitterness will excite your taste buds. This is certainly a beer to drink in moderation. Formerly 8.4% ABV.

Thuis uit een flesje gedeeld met Alwin op 7-9-18. Helder, oranje kleur en in de smaak een goede zoetheid. Uitstekend.

Bottled 750ml.- from Carrefour Val Thorens. Unclear golden coloured, small white head, lively carbonation, mild yeasty spicy nose. Moderate malty, caramel, spicey, yeasty and a bit fruity with notes of coriander and alcohol. Sweetish finish. Not bad. 9.0%ABV

Draft at Ninkasi Croix-Rousse. Mid- to dark gold. Very little head or visible carbonation. Bland and slightly medicinal aroma. Bit of kumquat. Sweet taste with a hint of bitterness. Sourness and astringency in the aftertaste. A mediocre beer. For the ABV I wanted much much more.

Light floral hops and q faint touch of citrus. Golden pour with OK head and lacing. Comes together OK but pretty light on palate. Light sweet finish. Hint of flower resin. Tastes more like a light Belgian ale than a tripel. Tap at Churchkey.
